JVC needed to crystallise their career progression and structure in order to meet demanding sales targets and ensure that employees were clear about what is expected of them. MaST worked with JVC to help them devise a Competency Framework and then designed and delivered performance management training for managers.
As a result of the partnership with MaST, there was a significant improvement in motivation and performance. The Sales and Marketing Director reported that the challenging targets that he had set were exceeded. There were significantly fewer internal grievances and complaints in regard to bonuses and pay awards as people were clearer about what was required. The competency framework also enabled the business to make difficult strategic resourcing decisions.
