Janice Clare
Janice is a learning and development specialist, and executive coach having
gained experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, in a wide range of
management and training roles over the last 20 years.
She has experience within both the public and private sector , working with
individuals and teams at all levels within an organisation.
Career background
Janice joined MaST in 2007, having gained a broad experience in learning and
development. Her most recent role involved developing and implementing a
national coaching training programme, for first and second line sales managers
within an International blue chip organisation.
Janice has a flexible approach and is passionate about delivering positive training
interventions that make a real difference to the business and the individual.
A key strength is diagnosis – to really understand the clients objectives, thus
designing and delivering bespoke training interventions which meets the real need
of the individual and the business.
She is qualified to administer and interpret Myers Briggs Type Indicator, of benefit
to individuals and also team dynamics. Janice is also a qualified NLP Practitioner.
During 2009 Janice will be studying and in December will hold a Diploma in
Coaching Supervision

- Developing and implementing a coaching culture throughout an international blue chip pharmaceutical company over a five year period.
- Within the finance sector , working with a team of trainers to deliver communication skills to 120 delegates over a 5 day period – part of Graduate Induction for HSBC.
- Coaching a Director of Housing , enabling him to achieve Performance Goals and challenges over a two year period.
- Working within the housing sector – launching an appraisal programme based around the organisations core competencies and revolutionary performance management system to all line managers.
- Local government – executive coaching at Director level.
- Equine Performance Coaching – currently working with a rider who competes for Great Britain , in relation to personal goals and challenges.
- Working with sales teams to increase their In Call Capability – involving observational benchmarking + delivery of training programmes.
- Interpretation and discussion of 360 degree feedback linking into development planning for clients.
- Design of an induction programme for a major finance company. Training current employees to facilitate on the course and mentor new starters within the business.
- Experience of talent management and succession planning, this has involved designing development centres, also assessing around a capability framework.
- Presentation and communication skills, currently working with a National Sales Manager as he creates a vision for future success with a new sales team.
