An experienced performance coach, team facilitator and personal development trainer who has helped individuals and teams enhance their
performance and ongoing effectiveness. A practical approach to improving human performance, acquired through integrating best practice
organisational consulting, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Sport Psychology.
Mark ensures that the learning solutions created with you are appropriate to your culture and address your participant's learning styles.
This is achieved by using a variety of learning techniques such as accelerated learning, experiential learning, one-to-one coaching, as well
as his energy and enthusiasm for his specialist areas.
Career background
Prior to joining MaST Mark worked for 7 years as a consultant to both business and sports organisations. Mark has built most of his career
in learning and development; however he gained hands on management and leadership experience with Mark Warner over a further 4 years.
Mark has worked at global, national and local levels for companies such as Accenture, HBOS, UBS, Guinness Trust, BP, Atkins, TRW, Jaguar, Tesco,
Environment Agency, Somerset Highways, Tottenham Hotspur and Hampshire Cricket club.

Mark enjoys helping individuals and teams improve their performance. Using a consultative approach, he provides senior management and line
managers with best practice tools, methods and training, to create a process that works for them.
Recent examples
- Designed and delivered a bespoke programme of courses for Accenture to develop 50 managers. A two day best practice management skills programme was
followed up with a one day workshop on becoming a leader. The programme has influenced the organisational climate resulting in greater employee satisfaction
and performance
- Designed and delivered a series of bespoke inspirational leadership programmes with HBOS middle managers
- Delivered strategic influencing, assertiveness and global team working for UBS
- Introduced Action Learning into Guinness Trust
- Facilitated the development of a collaborative working environment in a private/public sector partnership. Delivered a two day senior management programme
to engage them in the vision and values of the organisation. The senior managers identified collaborative behaviours they wanted to role model.
- Worked with Sport England to improve the performance of a dispersed team. Relationship blocks were resolved and the team began to collaborate and communicate
with respect and efficiency.
- As part of the stores leadership programme with Tesco Mark co-designed and delivered a programme for over 1000 managers which focused on developing
personal resilience.
