Nick Dawson

Nick was educated at Gordonstoun School in Scotland and at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Throughout his career Nick has held a range of appointments responsible for communication, team building and leadership development. In particular he was responsible for the leadership, trade and teambuilding training of up to 4000 members of his Corps for operational duties anywhere on the globe. This was undertaken over a three year period and was a major success.

Since leaving the Army he has held senior managerial posts in the leisure industry and the charity industry, both roles requiring extensive coaching of staff and clients and interaction at Graduate to Board level in Organisations.

Combining these experiences and backgrounds enables him to help companies develop their personal skills in a familiar environment using scenarios applicable to their work.

At MaST, Nick is responsible for the development and delivery of in-house courses and executive coaching concentrating on verbal communication skills. As a specialist he has majored in the art of presenting, working with clients from a multitude of backgrounds.

He and his colleagues keep themselves ahead of the competition with the skills of presenting and also offer coaching privately or as a group.

His coaching style is of a very personal nature, concentrating on the needs of the individual rather than any curriculum, building the confidence and skill base of the person concerned.
