Paul de Zulueta
Paul was educated at Ampleforth, the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst and the University of Segovia.
Before joining MaST, Paul worked for Flemings - a UK investment bank where he was a team leader in marketing to UK institutional clients.
Since Paul joined MaST in 1989 he has specialised in designing and delivering communication and influencing skills programmes for clients, mainly in the Financial Services sector.
He has particular responsibility for MaST’s suite of Influencing Skills programmes. These include Strategies for Influencing and Persuasion and Political and Organisational Savvy.
He also has a particular experts in Writing Skills, Speed Reading and Presentation Skills.
Examples of recent projects
- Strategic Influencing Skills for a global investment bank. Paul designed
this programme in response to the bank’s Global Client Initiative which
was part of the bank’s strategic move away from transaction and
product driven business to a more client focus strategy. Paul delivers
this programme in 11 countries worldwide. This has given him
significant experience in working across cultures.
- Paul has also recently designed and implemented a global programme
for a major European bank on Influencing, Problem Solving and
Managing Change. He has now delivered this programme in Brazil,
London, Chicago and Amsterdam.
- Paul has also delivered stakeholder management and influencing
programmes for the UK’s leading energy company and also for the
Halifax Bank of Scotland in Halifax, Edinburgh and Dublin.
Other responsibilities
In 1995, Paul developed MaST’s business in South America. He introduced the Investors in People award to Chile, Argentina and Peru.
He has current responsibility for developing MaST’s business in the financial services sector and managing a number of client relationships.
