MaST (originally known as Management and Skills Training), was founded in 1971 with the Speed Reading course its first offering. MaST was one of the pioneers in the Business Training market as it slowly became established. In the early years we serviced this growing market with our newly developed communication skills suite.

Throughout the 90s our reputation, offerings and organisation grew as we were able to service much larger assignments. At that time the market requirement from our FTSE clients was far less tailored than today. We also had offices in Ireland, Australia and Southern Africa, all of which flourish today.

2002 brought the retirement of two founders and coincided with a shift in our approach to the market. Now, all of our offerings to our enviable list of Blue Chip and International clients are heavily tailored and we cover the soft skills spectrum in depth. We have significantly grown internationally, opening our Far Eastern office in Singapore in 2002, which has been a great success, and a further one in Istanbul in 2006. Last year we delivered courses in 26 countries and in eight languages.

During the past few years we have continued our tradition of inspiring delegates to regularly use their new skills by fully embracing Accelerated Learning. We also believe we have a unique way of engaging with individuals locally and remotely through our Theatre & Film unit, which featured in a BBC documentary.

MaST’s strong position in the market is entirely down to the dedication of its team of talented individuals and by supporting our clients, many of whom we have partnered with for more than fifteen years.
