People are often promoted to team leader for doing a good job as a team member. But the skills of getting the most out of others are different from getting the most out of yourself. You need to be able to adapt your leadership style according to the individual, task and situation. You need to be able to motivate and inspire others, not just yourself. You need to know how to add value to each team process.

This course provides you with the opportunity to analyse the team processes which can deliver success. You will practise assessing just how well your team operates these processes. You will consider what you can do and say in your role as team leader to make the processes to which your team operates to work more effectively.
