Influencing in a Political Environment
Wednesday 5 March 2008
Novotel Tower Bridge, London
Getting buy–in to ideas is possibly one of the most important things we have to do at work. The quicker we buy in, the quicker we achieve our business objectives. Sometimes it seems a breeze yet on other days it’s as difficult as pushing water uphill.
It can be a frustrating, time-consuming and even soul-destroying activity, particularly when faced with people who seem unwilling to move, and/or when you suspect that politics are playing a part.
Your opportunity
During this Forum we will explore:-
- What organisational politics mean to you
- Factors to consider when influencing in a political environment
- Specific difficulties that you are facing
- Strategies to overcome these difficulties
Join us for a facilitated session where you will share ideas and help one another develop the tactics and strategies for becoming more effective influencers.
Registration for the Forum and coffee will be from 8.30am. We will start at 9.00am and close at 11.30am.
