Brilliant Teams
= Rich Results
Thursday 5th June 2008
Park Royal Hotel, Warrington
10 years ago the corporate buzz was all around ‘high performing teams’. But then the rhetoric rarely matched the real results. And yet we know that teamworking still has the potential to deliver the very best organisational outcomes. How do we get “Rich Results” from teamworking? How do we avoid pseudo teams that sap the life out of organisations and dysfunctional teams that damage performance?
Your opportunity
During this Forum we will explore:–
- The 5 dysfunctions of low performing teams.
- How diversity and team balance can help to generate excellence in teamworking
- The impact of the exceptional research work at Aston University by Professor West.
His research work into the process of building effective team working within the NHS, has proved reliable in predicting lower mortality rates in hospitals which have higher levels of teamworking
(e.g. +25% teamworking = –7% mortality in emergency surgery).
But it isn’t just about teamworking success in the public sector. Are there more general conclusions that we as Learning & Development professionals can draw about the characteristics of good teamworking?
Join us for a facilitated session where you will share ideas and help one another develop the tactics and strategies for becoming more effective team facilitators.
Registration for the Forum and coffee will be from 08:30. We will start at 09:00 and close at 12:30
