MaSTering Fast Change
Tuesday 20 June 2006 - MaST Head Office, Taplow
Thursday 22 June 2006 - Novotel Tower Bridge
We know that your world is in constant turmoil; relationships are increasingly complex; there is increasing need for innovation and differentiation to remain competitive; and pressure on margins which force constant cost control. At the same time there is increasing need for simplicity, consistency and coherence.
As leaders and managers we can neither run nor hide. A key part of our roles is to respond rapidly to continuous, fast change.
During this forum, we will discuss strategies for fast change in your organisation by identifying and overcoming the key blocks that prevents change happening quickly.
By helping you to overcome these core blocks, we will equip you with ideas for MaSTering rapid change. We will also enable you to develop strategies for sustaining personal resourcefulness throughout on-going change.
Summary of forum
Change happens rapidly but the implementation of change in organisations can feel slow, difficult and challenging.
At this forum we explored how altering our and others frame of reference on change can make us approach the process with more positive motivation. We then walked through the MaSTering Fast Change model which incorporates the latest thinking on change management coupled with practical, easy to use tips and techniques for removing blocks and implementing fast change in an organisation. We finished by discussing what characteristics help to build ongoing resourcefulness to change and shared strategies that had worked for us in our organisations. The many outputs were summarised and circulated to all who attended along with a useful postcard reminder of the model and questions that need to be asked at each stage.
Thank you to everyone who attended this forum and took part in the debates and discussions.
