MaST International has successfully run Learning & Development Forums in the Thames Valley since 2001,
Central London since 2004 and in the North West since May 2005.
What are the Forums?
We found that many of our clients wanted an opportunity to network with other professionals who shared their job roles and challenges. From research with our clients, we started to run the Learning & Development forums that
brought clients together to an event in which they could:
- Network with their peer group
- Share knowledge and experience
- Discuss best practice and issues
- Discuss new ideas, developments and hot topics
- Discuss latest thinking about training
At each session, we allow plenty of time for networking with each other and with MaST.

How does MaST help?
Our role is to provide the opportunity for HR and Training Professionals to
network with each other. We will arrange the venue, administration and correspondence to make this happen, free of charge.
From your feedback on what topics you would like to discuss at future forums, MaST facilitates the sessions, which encourage you to discuss and debate the topics. By the end of the sessions, we hope to have built some strategies and solutions together which you can take back to the workplace.
These forums are also an opportunity for attendees to get to know MaST as a company, our areas of expertise and our approach in a no-pressure environment. You also get to meet many of our Consultants.
Who can attend?
The forums are an excellent opportunity to network with other HR and Training Professionals. The forums are open to anyone who shares a role within HR and Training, as this is the area in which MaST can help facilitate and talk through possible problems and solutions.
From time to time, some topics may be relevant to other colleagues in a different job role. We would be happy to welcome your colleagues at the forums when this is this case.
What topics does MaST talk about?
We see these as your forums and therefore we run sessions that are driven by you. With MaST facilitating the sessions, we encourage you to discuss and debate the topics, allowing us all to build some strategies and solutions together.

How often are the forums held?
The forums are currently scheduled to take place every 4 months - 3 per year in each location.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions are based in the mornings and last for 2 ½ hours. Participants are invited to arrive earlier than the start of the session to network with each other over tea and coffee.

How much do the forums cost?
All of our Learning & Development forums are currently free of charge, which includes refreshments before and during the morning session, and a discussion summary, sent by email, post event
In return, we ask you to ensure that if you confirm your attendance at a particular forum and then find you are unable to make it, please contact us as soon as possible.
